Goal

I want to start up a new colony in a herbarium in which I regulate the environment. I want to find out to which extend my ants will shape their environment and how they will manage to grow the colony. It would be interesting to make a few different habitats and compare them with each other. I am not sure if I should interfere a lot in their behaviour though.

Apart from this I want to observe and research how the social bonds between ants and species in their surroundings (plants, insects, etc.) interact and coexist.
